I am a retired Lake Stevens resident who created this website. I freely admit it that my purpose is to embarrass both Lake Stevens and the WSDOT for creating what I believe is one of the most – if not THE most – dangerous roundabouts in the state. Actually, make that in the country.

Yes, I’ve purposely made this website humorous, but actually it’s not funny at all that they built a stretch of roadway that the vast majority of Lake Stevens citizens hate and that is actually dangerous. Many of the people I’ve spoken with avoid it entirely, even though it means going out of the way and taking back roads.

Will WSDOT listen, monitor the collision statistics, and eventually acknowledge this was a huge mistake and correct it? If you think so, I believe you are going to be sorely disappointed. When was the last time you saw a government agency admit it made a mistake and correct it?

I rest my case.
